Work

I am in my last term for my Masters of Arts program in Psychedelics and Consciousness Studies at the University of Ottawa.

I did my fieldwork with Yage (Ayahuasca) near Sasaima, Colombia. Now I’m working on my practicum with Psychedelia-Stiftung and graduating in July this year.

I recently started getting involved with Psymposia, the only organization I’m aware of doing actual autocritique in the field of psychedelic studies.

I’m working on Mindscape Collective, a database of 21,000+ peer-reviewed articles on psychedelics, meditation, dreaming, and consciousness exploration. It’s live, and updated periodically. I have ambitions for it that should manifest when I’m ready.

Self

I’m happy at home in SLC with family and community. Had an amazing 6 weeks in Asia 6 months ago, and will be heading back to Europe for a month this summer.

Camping, video gaming, fun technical projects, baking bread, and facing the hellish reality we live in head-on with absurdity and humor has been keeping me relaxed lately.

Reading

Enumerating what I’ve read since the last update is an impossible task, but I’ll list a few sticking in my mind.

This website has existed in essentially this form for over a decade. The current set up is still working well, and it’s tough to justify a change. So I won’t!
